What Is GMAT Exam and
Who Owns It?
GMAT test aims at testing one’s academic skills in key
areas, such as English (verbal reasoning) and Maths (Quant). Such is a standardized
test which is computer-adaptive meaning that questions are administered by
computer and it decides the next set of questions to be placed before student,
on the basis of level of toughness or easiness, which is again done depending
how the earlier question has been dealt with. The key sections in GMAT exam
are:
1)
Analytical Writing Assessment: The
aim is to gauge the ability to create ideas and to articulate them in writing
and also to consider the thinking ability.
2)
Integrated Reasoning: The hidden
objective is to analyse how smartly one does data analysis and can carry out
info evaluation when such is presented in multiple formats.
3)
Quantitative Reasoning: Again, one
has to put a show of his data analysis skills on the basis of his reasoning
expertise.
4)
Verbal
Reasoning: one has to prove his ability to read and comprehend the
given text material and has to showcase his evaluation ability related to
arguments and to initiate correction as per established English language
standards.

Why Do Students Fail to Achieve Success in GMAT Exam?
There are certain apprehensions and disillusions making way
into the minds of students, in regard to GMAT exam which affect preparation and
thus prevent students from achieving required degree of success. Since 1999,
following reasons have come to light due to which, students fail to register a
thrilling glory in such an exam, which holds the key to future sheen and career
success:
Ø
Improper study and GMAT exam preparation.
Ø
Inconsistency in practice.
Ø
Lack of proper training approach and mental
disintegration.
Ø
Lack of proper awareness and career guidance
(somewhat like the above one).
Ø
Words of Discouragement Among Youth, (some
people fail to score beyond 650 or 700 despite repeated efforts and such news
or rumors incite negativity and despair among youth).
Ø
Fear of stiff competition arising from
overwhelming global talent who contend for admission.

Pointed Worries:

point 1 and 2, we execute proper study schedule and hold classes as per

Disturbing Trend:
Besides, youth have their vicious friends’ circle and
digital social networks which are widespread due to modern day communication
techniques, such as Facebook, WhatsApp etc, which are simply the hotbed of
rumours. For instance, a student has a friend who is known to someone, whose
friend or cousin, scored 790 points in GMAT by just preparing for 3 weeks. Such
type of word can be encouraging to some and can be discouraging to others,
since youth have mild minds, which get encouraged or discouraged easily.
